Hdpe pipe is a kind of pipe made of high-density polyethylene (English name: "High Density Polyethylene", referred to as "HDPE").
HDPE pipe is the replacement of traditional steel pipe and PVC drinking water pipe.
HDPE pipes must bear certain pressure. Generally, PE resin with large molecular weight and good mechanical properties, such as HDPE resin, should be selected. LDPE resin has low tensile strength, poor pressure resistance, poor rigidity, poor dimensional stability during molding and processing, and is difficult to connect, so it is not suitable to be used as the material of water supply pressure pipe. However, due to its high sanitary index, LDPE, especially LLDPE resin, has become a common material for producing drinking water pipes. LDPE and LLDPE resins have low melt viscosity, good fluidity and easy processing, so the selection range of their melt index is also wide, usually MI is between 0.3-3g/10min.
HDPE Pipe Extruder Machinery Instruction:
1. The single-screw extruder is of advanced overall design. High-efficiency screw and spiral water-cooled jacket in the barrel can realize high-speed extrusion at low melt temperature. The relationship between output and screw speed is almost linear. Extrusion is stable, reliable and easy to operate
2. The extrusion die head adopts a bracket structure, and each material flow channel is evenly placed. Each channel is subject to heat treatment, mirror polishing and chrome plating to ensure smooth flow of materials. The die head adopts modular design, which is easy to change the pipe size, assembly, disassembly and maintenance. Can produce single or multi-layer pipes
3. The vacuum box and water contact parts are made of 304 stainless steel and equipped with forced cooling to quickly reach the standard pipe size. We use a two-chamber structure. The length of the first chamber is short to ensure very strong cooling and vacuum functions. Since the calibrator is placed in the front of the first chamber and the pipe shape is mainly formed by the calibrator, this design can ensure rapid and better molding and cooling of the pipe.The cooling box is used for further cooling the pipeline
4. The tractor shall provide sufficient traction force to pull the pipeline stably. According to different pipe sizes and thicknesses, our company will customize the traction speed, claw number and effective traction length. In order to ensure that the extrusion speed of the pipe matches the molding speed, the pipe deformation should also be avoided during the traction process.
